i just woke up to a text from my mom asking if i was watching whitney’s home going service. i turned to cnn to hear tyler perry basically giving a sermon, and all i can think is thank goodness the telecast is almost over because i think if i were to have watched the whole thing, i would be a mess for the rest of the day.

i, for one, am really glad that they didn’t open the service up to the public. every situation is not for everybody.

and now, bebe winans is singing a gorgeous song and needed cece to come up to the pulpit to give him some support, and just told the most adorable story about whitney, and i swear even the camera man laughed at it.

that’s how i’m going to choose to remember her, too, bebe.

i’m going to sit and watch this last hour, but it is not going to be easy.
