had no idea jill scott’s “sweet justice” used a sample. and it’s mannheim! whom i love, but am woefully not familiar with their full discography. i should work on that. i’m listening to a mix of original songs that jilly has sampled and it’s heavenly. but “sweet justice” is easily in my top 5 jilly songs, so i had to post this.
